HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) is closing 13 schools across Hawaii Island, Oahu, and Molokai due to damage sustained from the second Kona low storm.
HIDOE said that it has received more than 500 work orders related to storm damage, and impacts have been reported across multiple islands.
