CENTER POINT, Ala. (WIAT) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an 18-year-old male was injured in a shooting in Center Point on Friday.
According to the JCSO, deputies responded to the 10 block of Polly Reed Road NE on a report of shots fired at around 5:38 p.m. Friday. They found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to UAB Hospital with not life-threatening injuries.
