One killed in Harlem building fire: FDNY

HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) — One person was killed in a Harlem building fire on Sunday, according to the FDNY.

Officials received a call for the reported fire just after 4:30 p.m. at 230 West 140th St. between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. and Frederick Douglass Boulevards in Central Harlem.

The reported fire was on the fifth floor of a six-story multiple dwelling, according to the FDNY.
