FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – People sat in their cars with their pets outside Fluvanna County High School on Sunday, March 22, waiting in line for Green Dogs Unleashed’s Community Pet Care Clinic.
The clinic offered free vaccines, free microchips, 28,000 pounds of food and 8,000 pounds of supplies. Pets could also have their nails clipped.
“It brings me such joy that we’re seeing truckloads of animals being vaccinated. We’re seeing people that are just so thankful because they just need a little help,” said Erika Proctor, executive director and animal behavior specialist for Green Dogs Unleashed…
