CLEARWATER, Fla. – A major traffic accident on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard sent two people to the hospital Monday morning, causing significant gridlock for commuters in Clearwater.
Emergency crews from Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue arrived at the 1800 block of the busy thoroughfare at 8:44 a.m. following reports of a crash with serious injuries.
According to officials, one victim was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital as a trauma alert. A second individual was taken to Morton Plant Hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the names or current conditions of those involved in the crash…
