Columbia police release photos of suspected vehicle in hit-and-run

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Police are asking for help to find a vehicle reportedly involved in a Columbia hit-and-run that left a pedestrian hurt.

The Columbia Police Department said the crash happened Friday night on the 5400 block of Forest Drive. The pedestrian was later taken to a hospital for what police said were “serious injuries.” CPD noted that he remains in serious condition as of Monday morning.

Also on Monday, police released photos of the vehicle that was reportedly involved. It was identified as a beige, early 2000s Chevrolet Tahoe. CPD said the vehicle may also have damage to the headlight area on the front passenger side.
