The Moore County Sheriff’s Office has identified the Cameron man who was fatally shot by a deputy Saturday night.
According to a press release, deputies were dispatched around 10:42 p.m. March 21 to the 200 block of Carthage Street after a motorist reported that a person walking along the roadway had fired a gun and struck their vehicle. The driver was uninjured and able to provide a description of the suspect.
