No. 3 Mustangs Sweep All Three Sunday Matches to Stretch Win Streak to 15

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Cal Poly beach volleyball team continued its stretch of dominance Sunday, sweeping all three of its matches Sunday in Long Beach at the Big West Challenge to push the team’s win streak up to 15 matches.

The No. 3 Mustangs took down Cal State Bakersfield, No. 11 Long Beach State, and Sacramento State all by scores of 5-0 to improve the team’s record to 20-2. 18 of the 20 wins have been via sweep.

A major milestone was reached Sunday by redshirt senior Ella Connor, who after winning all three of her matches Sunday surpassed 100 career victories, becoming third player in program history to do so.
