Chipotle is planning to construct its fifth location in Marion County since 2023, and fourth in Ocala, targeting a site in Silver Springs Shores next to several other recently developed commercial plots.
A conceptual plan for the new Chipotle was reviewed by the Marion County Development Review Committee on Monday.
The new restaurant is sought on a parcel situated between Caliber Car Wash (125 Bahia Avenue Court) and Aldi (7891 Bahia Road).
The site is also located just west of a new Tractor Supply that is under construction.
Records show that the 1.2-acre property will house Chipotle that is approximately 2,385 square feet in size. The restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a “digital drive-thru” lane known as the “Chipotlane.”…
