Haddon Township’s impressive restaurant district along Haddon Avenue recently welcomed a delicious new addition—Duo Restaurant & Bar, which opened last month in the former Keg & Kitchen space.
I’m actually a bit behind on this one as they’ve been open likely a month… but when my wife suggested heading out for Italian, I pitched Duo as the perfect opportunity to grab a great meal and share the experience with 42Freeway readers.
While this is an all-new Italian dining experience for South Jersey, the roots of Duo come from a familiar place. The two brothers behind Cherry Hill’s Il Villaggio Restaurant & Bar—along with their chef, Elton—are also the team behind Duo.
For reference, Duo is located on Haddon Ave directly across from Scoop DeVille Ice Cream, with Franco’s also nearby on the opposite corner.
The Space & Atmosphere
I hadn’t visited The Keg & Kitchen in several years, so I can’t fully compare the decor changes—but I can say Duo delivers a fresh, inviting atmosphere…
