ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A suspect has been arrested following an investigation into a report of a female employee being followed and touched without consent on the campus of St. John Fisher University
On March 15, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation after it was reported that a woman was walking from a bus stop towards campus when she was approached from behind, grabbed, and subjected to what was described as “unwanted inappropriate contact.” According to authorities, the suspect exposed himself to the victim when she attempted to confront him.
During the investigation, deputies reviewed campus security footage, worked with RTS to determine where the suspect got on the bus, and subsequently identified him as 32-year-old Ramel Bell-Scott of Syracuse with the help of the Irondequoit Police Department…
