Two Wawa’s and an Aldi are coming to the City of Port Wentworth.
Last month, Atlanta-based commercial developer BrixWorx Development purchased commercial property off Augusta Avenue in Port Wentworth, next to the Tidal Wave Car Wash and across the street from Publix.
Brixworx Port Wentworth II LLC purchased the property for $3.3 million from T&T Exley Properties, LLC. T&T Exley Properties submitted and got approval for a special use permit (for a gas station) and site plan for a “Rice Mill Road and SR21 Development” on Highway 21 in July 2025. The development was proposed to have a convenience store, a fueling canopy and a proposed grocery store, according to materials from the meeting.
