Hair dye isn’t so much a trend of recent times, but something that’s been happening for hundreds of years.
“Modern hair coloring began in the early 1900s,” said Sarah Jones, owner of BlueBird Studio in West Toledo. “But henna, minerals, and plant extracts have been used for centuries.”
