32-year-old Elizabeth De Los Santos was arrested Friday and booked into the Potter County Jail for Reckless Arson. Her arrest is in connection with a fire on Wednesday, March 18th in the 700 block of South Dallas that was actively threatening nearby structures. Fire personnel acted quickly to contain and suppress the fire, preventing further spread and minimizing property damage.
Following suppression efforts, the Amarillo Fire Marshal’s Office initiated an investigation into the origin and cause of the fire. Investigators determined that the fire had been intentionally set.
