PSP Coordinator Pierce on motivating non athletes in the program

As the Perry Strength and Condition program continues to grow in popularity, non athletes looking to grow stronger, remain in shape, or get into shape are joining in on the fun at the PSP program.

PSP Coordinator Scott Pierce reflected on his process for motivating and working with non athletes in the program.

“Things that I’ve seen I’ve been surprised about is kids coming in that are pretty new at things and just buying in immediately those kids that get up there you can tell that shift and Leadership and mentorship for those lower level kids or even the kids that are new to the program. We get kids in there that aren’t really out for sports right now that are recruited to finally go out for sports. I think that’s been a really good recruitment tool for them,”…
