Appleton office building to become micro-apartment community

APPLETON – Park Place Holdings is converting part of the office building at 1101 E. South River into South River MicroFlats, a 15-unit micro-apartment community set to open in April 2026.

Park Place Holding CEO and Founder Caleb Hayes said the project – currently accepting pre-leases – will offer studio and one-bedroom apartments ranging from 275 to 438 square feet with flexible lease terms from one month to a year, both furnished and unfurnished.

Hayes said the development provides convenient access to downtown Appleton, Lawrence University and major transportation routes, with amenities including outdoor courtyards, a fitness center, Wi-Fi and modern workspaces…
