ARLINGTON, Texas | The Jackson State bowling team’s run in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship Tournament ended Sunday afternoon as Alabama A&M eliminated the Tigers 3-2 in a nail-biter with a trip to the SWAC Championship on the line.
After a slow start the in the traditional round where the Bulldogs got the best of the Tigers, Jackson State rebounded with hot play in Baker play to tie the score at one all.
The Tigers carried their momentum from baker play into the best-of-seven series as they climbed to a 3-0 lead over the Bulldogs.
