MADISON, Wis. — A person died and a man was arrested after a hit-and-run crash on Madison’s east side Saturday night, Madison police said.
Officers were called to the intersection of Mesta Lane and Commercial Ave at around 7:45 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a man, was taken to a hospital and later died. He was crossing Commercial Avenue when he was hit. Identifying information on the pedestrian, including their age has not yet been released…
