As gasoline and diesel prices continued to climb on Saturday, some Houstonians said they were cutting back at the pump to save money, but most said they had no choice but to accept the higher cost.
“I used to fill up twice a week,” said Eddie Pierson, of The Woodlands, who said he drives a diesel truck with two 100-gallon fuel tanks. “Now I fill up once a week and cut back on hauling also.”
