RENO, Nev. – Chris Vittorino of Las Vegas posted a career-best performance at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships on Saturday to take the lead in Standard Singles.
The 35-year-old right-hander rolled games of 215, 277 and 230 for a 722 series at the National Bowling Stadium, moving past previous leaders Tim Tuttle Sr. of Muskegon, Michigan, and Rob Spivey of Erlanger, Kentucky, at 694.
