Biltmore Village Wendy’s to be rebuilt, aiming for summer 2026 completion

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A rebuild for the Wendy’s in Biltmore Village is underway after sustaining flood damage from Hurricane Helene, the restaurant chain announced in a March 23 press release.

Wendy’s said the anticipated completion of construction is late June or early July 2026.

The restaurant located at 776 Biltmore Ave. was “well below” base flood level, putting it at risk for future flooding, according to the press release. The franchisee that owns the site, Tar Heel Capital Corporation, the City of Asheville and local engineers raised the elevation of the new Wendy’s by an additional 6 feet to meet requirements…
