STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Commuters and visitors aboard the Staten Island Ferry can once again purchase beer and other alcoholic drinks starting Friday, March 27, marking the return of a service suspended since 2019.
New York City Department of Transportation Commissioner Mike Flynn and New York City Economic Development Corporation Interim President and CEO Jeanny Pak announced that beer, hard seltzers and canned cocktails will be available on the SSG Michael H. Ollis ferry beginning this Friday.
