AN Army veteran was suddenly left staring down eviction despite claims he has paid his rent on time every month.
The shock came while he was at work, when he got a call warning that deputies were at his home and his dog could be taken away.
In Charlotte, North Carolina, Romeo Crenshaw said he was evicted after paying rent to a contact he was told handled his lease, but court records still showed the money was never paid.
