NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Officers arrested a North Charleston man Saturday morning in connection with a commercial burglary at a Palmetto Goodwill.
The North Charleston Police Department says they responded to a burglar alarm around 2 a.m. at the corporate office of the Palmetto Goodwill in North Charleston. When the officers arrived, they noticed an open bay door on the side of the building.
While the officers were conducting a search, an officer says he saw a suspect hiding behind boxes, “peering out from above a cardboard box.” The officer ordered the individual to step into an open area, where the suspect was searched for weapons…
