INDIANAPOLIS (WKRC) — One man was killed and several others injured after shots were fired outside a church in Indianapolis Saturday.
Deon Hart Jr. told FOX 59/CBS 4 that he was attending his father’s funeral at Antioch Fountain of Grace Baptist Church when the shooting happened. Hart suffered several gunshot wounds to his hands, and one finger was shattered and may need surgery in the future.
“It’s just senseless,” Hart told the outlet. “To do it during a family gathering, a service that’s trying to put someone to rest, is just uncalled for and just shows the type of empathy and emotions you have as a human being.”…
