CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WSMV) – Veterans who live in the Chattanooga area have often been forced to drive two hours to Nashville and Murfreesboro for cancer treatment. But now, a new VA clinic has opened up in their own area to significantly reduce the travel time for treatment.
The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System opened up its new Oncology Services and Infusion Center at the Pointe Centre 2 VA Clinic on Monday. Located at 1208 Pointe Centre Drive, 110, the clinic will provide cancer care services for veterans across Rutherford County, Middle Tennessee and the broader Tennessee Valley.
