Ginther announces nearly $17.5 million in funding for summer youth programs, other city services

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther announced on Monday that the city will invest nearly $17.5 million to fund summer youth programs and other critical services in the city.

More than 210 nonprofit organizations will receive the funding through Summer Youth Program Grants and the city’s Elevate! Initiative, according to Ginther.

“Columbus is a growing city, and with that growth comes responsibility,” Ginther said. “At a time of real uncertainty across the nation, we will continue to support our residents and strengthen the organizations serving our communities. These investments empower our nonprofit partners to continue meeting the needs of our neighbors.”…
