A man in the Town of Villenova has been charged for allegedly setting a camper on fire in Forestville. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an undisclosed address in the hamlet last Thursday for a report of a larceny of a camper. Further investigation found that 25-year-old Ethan Guest allegedly started the missing camper on fire, causing it to be a total loss without the owner’s knowledge or consent. The Sheriff’s Office says a warrant for Guest’s arrest was signed on Monday, charging him with 3rd-degree arson and 3rd-degree criminal mischief.
