Grady Judd invites ICE, TSA agents to come to work with Polk County

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd has made a pitch to federal law enforcement agents tired of not getting paid during government shutdowns: Come work for him instead.

The afternoon of March 23, Judd posted a less-than-30-second video appealing to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and Transportation Security Administration employees who are working unpaid since the partial federal government shutdown began on Feb. 14.

“We recruit here at the Sheriff’s Office for the best and the brightest. We even have recruiting bonuses. Best yet, we really give you a paycheck and we never delay them,” Judd said in the video…
