The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified a Marietta man as the victim killed in a shooting last week at a veterans affairs clinic in Jasper.
Nicholas “Nic” Crews, 34, was a social work case manager at the Pickens County Veterans Affairs clinic along East Church Street in Jasper when he was shot and killed by 51-year-old Lawrence Charles Michels, the GBI reports.
