MFR: Bloodied man sprints down Plover St. with newborn, firefighters leap into action

MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — According to Mobile Fire-Rescue, during an after-incident review of the scene from an early-morning fire on Plover St., a man was rushing down the street, covered in blood, carrying a newborn, while yelling for help. A woman had just given birth at a corner store nearby.

Recognizing the situation and urgency, fire personnel immediately jumped to action, administering emergency care to mother and child. Two MFRD advanced life support, rescue units were called to the scene, and mother and newborn were rushed to an area hospital for care…
