SALEM, Va. (WFXR) — On March 21, 2025, 10-year-old Roanoke County student Autumn Bushman died by suicide, after her parents say she endured severe bullying from her classmates.
On the anniversary of her passing, a community came together in honor of her memory and in support of her family.

“Just knowing that my daughter meant so much to so many people, and they’re coming out here, and they’re showing their love for her, and they’re raising awareness,” said Autumn’s mother, Summer Bushman. “It’s just magical. It means so much to me.”
