MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA — A multi-county theft operation targeting baby formula has led to the arrest of three Miami women, accused of stealing large quantities of products and reselling them for profit across South Florida.
According to authorities, the suspects traveled from Miami to Martin County, where they allegedly carried out a series of retail thefts involving baby formula. Deputies began tracking the group after reports surfaced of repeated thefts at multiple stores.
Theft Operation Spanned Multiple Locations
Investigators say the women would move quickly from store to store, stealing baby formula before heading to the next location to avoid detection. The coordinated approach allowed them to gather large amounts of merchandise in a short period of time.
A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert was issued, leading deputies to locate the suspects’ vehicle on Interstate 95 South.
