(FOX40.COM) — Officers with the Ceres Police Department made five DUI arrests during two recent saturation patrols aimed at removing impaired drivers from local roadways.
According to Ceres police, the enforcement efforts conducted over two separate eight-hour operations resulted in 31 traffic stops. Officers issued 25 citations, towed 11 vehicles and made five arrests for driving under the influence.
Ceres police said that the arrests stemmed from proactive enforcement stops, DUI-related crashes and a citizen-report incident. Officers also conducted five standardized field sobriety test evaluations and made one additional arrest on a felony warrant…
