Delaware State Police arrested a 17-year-old from Wilmington after an armed robbery on March 21 around 6:45 p.m. in the parking lot near JCPenney at Christiana Mall in Newark. The teen was caught after a short chase across Route 1, and troopers recovered a loaded handgun.
Police say the teen and another man approached two victims, demanded property, and struck one victim, a 47-year-old from Bridgeville, with a gun.
