As a student, I am frustrated but as staff — I am appalled. I have watched as my peers and my residents who are affected by the lack of variety within West Chester University’s food facilities and the absolute corporate greed. WCUPA lacks vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on campus. I’m sorry, the best you can do is the salad bar at the Commons? Please. The more upsetting part is with our university forcing students to pay for a more expensive meal plan and to then not provide them accessible food during breaks or holidays.
