MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – People were asked to avoid the Picnic Point area after UW-Madison Police Department reported finding a suspicious object there on Monday.
UWPD said in a Facebook post around 3:50 p.m. that those in the area would see an increased police presence near Picnic Point, which is on the UW-Madison campus along University Bay Drive.
Police noted there is no active threat to the public…
