Officer allegedly struck by vehicle during traffic stop in Republic

REPUBLIC, Mo. — A Republic police officer was recently hit by a vehicle after a man was given a speeding citation on Saturday, March 21.

According to online court dockets, Chad Sartell, born in 1980, of Bentonville, Arkansas, has been charged with aggravated fleeing a stop in Greene County Circuit Court.

The probable cause statement says a grey Honda Ridgeline was seen by law enforcement around 10:02 p.m. traveling around 61 miles per hour near U.S. 60 Highway and Hamilton, which is marked with a limit of 40 miles per hour…
