Connoisseur Media’s “Star 96.7” WSSR Joliet, IL has flipped to “The 9-6-7: Chicagoland’s Classic Pop,” focused on the hits of the 90s and 2000s.
The new format features a wide range of core artists – including Mariah Carey, Eminem, Backstreet Boys, Usher, No Doubt, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Alanis Morissette and Dr. Dre – and closely follows the blueprint of Connoisseur’s “Z93” WGTZ Dayton, OH, which it launched in October 2025.
