DALLAS Ore. (KPTV) – A Polk County jury has convicted a Falls City man of murder and other charges in the deadly shooting of his landlord last year.
Terry Lawrence Allwen, 63, was found guilty Friday of second-degree murder with a firearm following a multi-day trial in Polk County Circuit Court. Jurors also convicted him of first-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and being a felon in possession of a weapon.
Prosecutors said the shooting happened May 31, 2024, after an argument between Allwen and his landlord, Bo Johnson, 79, also of Falls City. Johnson died from his injuries…
