Puyallup’s Red Dot Acquires Texas Company

Puyallup-based heavy-duty mobile HVAC systems company Red Dot Corp. has acquired the assets of Texas’ TSI Products, Inc., and its subsidiary, International Climate Systems.

ICS is a manufacturer of HVAC systems for off-road gas, diesel, and electric vehicles and will join the expansion efforts of Red Dot’s newly launched Offroad Arctic, a new line of aftermarket A/C, heating kits, and accessories for those who are utility riders or ride recreational vehicles.

“From a strategic perspective, ICS was seeking the right partner for a transition of ownership to carry on the vision for world-class side-by-side HVAC solutions,” Stephen O’Brien, CEO of TSI/ICS, said in a press release. “Red Dot brings a strong brand reputation, expanding channels, global reach, and capable operations and supply chain.”…
