Plan submitted for Spokane County residents near airport to get clean water access amid PFAS contamination

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County Public Works is moving forward with a plan to provide clean drinking water to residents living on properties contaminated with PFAS, commonly known as “forever chemicals.”

Kyle Twohig, senior director of Public Works, says his office submitted a Short-Term Interim Action Work Plan to the Washington State Department of Ecology on March 20.
