Oregon man killed landlord after verbal dispute

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Falls City man was found guilty of shooting and killing his landlord back in 2024, the Polk County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday.

According to the DA’s Office, Terry Lawrence Allwen, 63, fatally shot his landlord, 79-year-old Bo Johnson, after a verbal dispute on May 31, 2024.

After a multi-day trial concluded on Friday, the jury found Allwen guilty of second-degree murder with a firearm.
