Northampton County Council has approved the 1921 at Dixie Avenue Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District in partnership with the Borough of Wilson and the Wilson Area School District. The district covers about 12.6 acres at 315 South 24th Street, the site of the long-vacant Dixie Cup factory.
The redevelopment plan, led by Skyline Investment Group Easton LLC, will transform the historic industrial property into 405 apartments with some commercial space and public improvements like new sidewalks, trail connections, and a public plaza featuring the restored Dixie Cup landmark.
