A new initiative promising the full use of each fish cleaned in the Great Lakes region has come to Lake Erie, and Walnut Creek has the first station in the region to take the pledge.
On March 23, members of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, along with the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers, announced that the Walnut Creek Marina Fish Cleaning Station at 241 Manchester Road, has signed the Governors’ and Premiers’ 100% Great Lakes Fish Pledge.
“This marks the launch of our 100% fish initiative,” said John Schmidt, program manager for the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers. Walnut Creek will be the first sport fish cleaning station to join the initiative, and we hope to attract many more.”…
