GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro community members want a safer downtown after shootings injured four people early Sunday morning.
The Greensboro Police Department responded to a shooting in the 100 block of East Lewis Street around 12:50 a.m.

Officers found four people with non-life-threatening injuries. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital. The remaining two victims were left with graze wounds.
Greensboro resident Rise Vidovich said she thinks twice about the time of day she plans on visiting downtown.
“This time of day [afternoon] seems to be OK, but I wouldn’t bring my grandchildren down here, and that’s sad because there are really neat places to take them,” Vidovich said…
