Collierville to appeal judge’s ruling on Chick-fil-A plans

Plans for a new Chick-fil-A in Collierville are once again headed to court.

The Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen during its March 23 meeting voted 5-1 to appeal a judge’s ruling that ordered the town to approve the preliminary site plan for a new Chick-fil-A. The matter will go in front of the Tennessee Court of Appeals in Jackson at a future date.

Aldermen Charles Hall, Jewel Jordan, Nick Robbins, Missy Marshall and Vice Mayor John Stamps voted to appeal the judge’s order, while Mayor Maureen Fraser voted against the appeal…
