MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The Myrtle Beach community is invited to upcoming public input sessions to help shape the selection of the next police chief for the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
In a Facebook post, city officials said they’ve retained Public Sector Search & Consulting, a firm specializing in police chief recruitment, to lead this process.
They said the firm will meet with members of the police department, city council and city staff to “help identify the qualities and leadership style best suited for Myrtle Beach’s next police chief.”…
