CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Some typical spring temperature swings are likely in the next several days.
Tonight is on target to be a little warmer than last night, when temperatures sank all the way into the 20s. Instead, lows in the low to mid 30s appear likely. This happens as we see a good amount of cloud cover for a good portion of the night. Some clearing is possible closer to daybreak, however.
Tuesday takes a step toward warmer conditions, despite again a decent amount of cloud cover that builds during the day. A southerly breeze, moderate at most, will give us a boost. Highs are back into the 50s, with a few spots in the south potentially touching 60 degrees.
Another boost in temperatures comes for Wednesday into Thursday, with highs back into the 70s for most of us. Lows will be in the 40s to 50s, giving us mild temperatures around the clock. Skies remain partly to mostly cloudy through Wednesday, with a bit of a mix of sun and clouds during the day on Thursday…
