EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The attotrney of the family of Victor Manuel Diaz, a 36-year-old migrant who died while detained at Camp East Montana in January, is expected to speak publicly about the manner of his death through their counsel during a press conference on Tuesday.
Diaz’s family in Nicaragua, his mother, Rosario Diaz, brothers Lenin and Juan Diaz, and sons Kenny and Jefferson Diaz, plan to address the people of El Paso through their counsel at a press conference in front of El Paso City Hall at 11 a.m.
Diaz’s family attorney, Randall Kallinen, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), and other civil rights groups and individuals are expected to read a statement from the family and address concerns about conditions at Camp East Montana…
